They are inserted through a speculum and extract the tiny sample from selected areas of the cervix, smaller than a rice grain. They feature an angled shank along with fenestrated jaws that allow easy grasping of the specimens. The instrument body is manufactured from high-grade German surgical stainless steel and thus can be reused after sterilization. Low maintenance is required due to having high tensile strength and resistance against environmental changes. This metal keeps it lightweight and rustproof.
