Product Overview
Wide Hohmann Retractor assists orthopedic surgeons in exposing deep skeletal margins during reconstructive procedures. Its extended 13 1/2" profile provides mechanical leverage to displace dense musculature, while the 45mm broad blade and double prongs anchor securely onto cortical bone without slippage. Surgical-grade alloy ensures lasting operative performance.
Key Features:
• Broad contour shields heavy musculotendinous flaps from inadvertent surgical trauma.
• Bifurcated anchors purchase directly onto cortical ledges to stop rotational slippage.
• Elongated shaft generates high mechanical advantage while clearing operative line-of-sight.
• German stainless steel preserves structural rigidity, rust defense, and autoclave longevity.
Uses & Applications:
• Mobilizes vast musculature during total hip arthroplasty and femoral neck osteotomies.
• Isolates diaphyseal bone surfaces during open reduction and internal fixation procedures.
• Levers adjacent soft structures away from acetabular rims to broaden surgical access.
