Designed to seat within an endaural incision, its outward-curving sharp or blunt prongs engage soft tissue margins firmly without causing local ischemic necrosis. The adjustable screw-lock mechanism regulates spreading tension progressively, providing secure, self-retaining retraction that keeps the operative axis clear under surgical microscopes.
