Product Overview
Hajek Rongeurs enable otolaryngologists to navigate deep intranasal corridors and excise dense bony overhangs cleanly during septoplasty and sinusotomy procedures. Featuring robust, sharp-edged through-cutting cup jaws and a compound-action handle mechanism, they slice through resilient nasal spine and vomer bone without crushing or splintering adjacent structures, minimizing operative bleeding while maintaining an unobstructed line of sight across confined endonasal corridors.
Key Features:
• German stainless steel material provides corrosion-free strength
• Sharp through-cutting cup jaws ensure clean, splinter-free bone and cartilage excision
• Compound-action hinge structure multiplies manual biting force smoothly
• Slender low-profile shanks preserve clear visibility under endonasal illumination
Uses & Applications:
• Excising the bony nasal septum and spurs during corrective septoplasty procedures
• Punching through dense sinus wall bone during sphenoidotomy and antrostomy interventions
• Debulking hypertrophic bone fragments and cartilage during reconstructive rhinologic surgery
